These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the goldencoast.it website and requests for services sent through the website. By using the website or sending a request, you declare that you have read and accepted them.
1. Who we are
The website is operated by Dario Tolu, trading under the Golden Coast brand, with registered address at Piazza Dessì n. 2 – 09045 Quartu Sant’Elena (CA), Italy, tax code TLODRA06C08H118B, certified email (PEC) dariotolu6@pec.it, phone +39 391 114 0589 (hereinafter “Golden Coast”).
2. The service
Golden Coast offers a luxury concierge service: it collects customers’ requests, identifies the most suitable solutions among accommodation, transfers and rentals, personal services and experiences in Sardinia, prepares a quote and coordinates the organisation of the stay. Unless otherwise stated in the quote, the individual services (for example a stay at a property, vehicle rental, a boat charter, a private chef service) are provided by selected third-party partners under their respective terms, which are communicated to the customer before confirmation.
3. Website content and indicative prices
The descriptions, images and prices published on the website are for information purposes only. Prices shown with the word “from” are minimum reference prices and may vary depending on period, duration, availability and services requested. Images may be indicative. The only applicable price is the one stated in the accepted quote.
4. Quote requests
Sending a request through the configurator, the website forms, email, phone or WhatsApp is free of charge and non-binding. A request does not constitute a booking and does not guarantee the availability of services. After checking availability and conditions, Golden Coast sends a personalised quote stating the services included, the price, payment methods, change and cancellation terms and the period of validity of the offer.
5. Confirmation and conclusion of the contract
The contract is deemed concluded only when the customer accepts the quote in writing and, where applicable, pays the deposit or amount indicated, and Golden Coast sends the relevant confirmation. Until then, availability is not guaranteed.
6. Prices and payments
Prices, applicable taxes, any tourist taxes, security deposits and payment methods and deadlines are stated in the quote. Failure to pay within the agreed terms may result in the booking being cancelled.
7. Changes and cancellations
Requests for changes or cancellations must be made in writing. The change and cancellation terms, including any penalties, are those stated in the accepted quote and depend on the policies of the partners providing the individual services. Golden Coast undertakes to communicate them clearly before confirmation.
If a confirmed service cannot be provided for reasons not attributable to the customer, Golden Coast will offer an alternative of equivalent standard or, failing that, a refund of the sums paid for that service.
8. Right of withdrawal
Pursuant to Article 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to accommodation, transport, vehicle rental, catering and leisure services to be provided on a specific date or within a specific period. The cancellation terms stated in the quote remain applicable.
9. Customer obligations
- Provide correct and complete information on guests, dates, needs and preferences.
- Comply with the rules of properties and partners (for example villa rules, times, maximum number of guests).
- Provide the documents required for certain services, such as an identity document for guest registration or a driving licence for self-drive rental.
- Be liable for any damage caused to property of Golden Coast or its partners during the stay, under the applicable terms.
10. Liability
Golden Coast is responsible for the proper performance of its own selection, organisation and coordination activities. For services provided by third-party partners, their respective terms and the liabilities provided for by law apply. Golden Coast is not liable for delays or failures due to force majeure, such as weather events, orders of the authorities, strikes or transport disruptions.
Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to consumers by mandatory provisions of law, including, where applicable, the provisions of the Italian Tourism Code (Legislative Decree 79/2011).
11. Account and members’ area
For some website features you can register and access a members’ area. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for the activities carried out with your account. Golden Coast may suspend accounts used in breach of these Terms.
12. Use of the website
It is forbidden to use the website for unlawful purposes, to send false or harmful content, to attempt to access restricted areas without authorisation or to interfere with its operation. Golden Coast strives to keep the website accessible, but does not guarantee that it will always be available and error-free, and may change its content at any time.
13. Intellectual property
The texts, images, trademarks, logos and graphics of the website are the property of Golden Coast or their respective owners and are protected by copyright and trademark law. They may not be reproduced without written permission.
14. Links to third-party websites
The website may contain links to external websites. Golden Coast does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content or privacy policies.
15. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer’s place of residence or domicile has jurisdiction; in all other cases, the court of Cagliari has exclusive jurisdiction.
17. Changes to the Terms
Golden Coast may update these Terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time the request is sent or the service is confirmed.
